also you can buy empty chaulking tubes and use a chaulking gun

this is something that i myself have been wanting to make when i get my own place. i had originally thought to make it a dual level tank...meaning that the tank would be on the bottom floor but the surface would be ground level.. with a railing around it to prevent anything from falling in. for filtration i had wanted to run a R/O system to keep water levels topped off with a pool sand filter that would pump the water up into the wall to come out of a ceramic tile setting in the wall making a waterfall that pours into the "tank". this is a concept design but i think it would work out well ... i would also like a retractable sky light above this to provide some natural light.

Nice. You'd need one heck of a dehumidifier for that one!!!! You're whole house will smell like an aquarium!!!

wohh nice project!!! looks very good so far! id go with about 5000 neon tetras
That's what I was thinkin... That or guppies...

Having read through all 24 pages so far, I'm very impressed; particularly on how you've kept your costs down while still going with a really sound design.

Very nice setup... and here I thought my new 230 Gal was big... :tropicalf :)
