funny thing is that my filter box on my filter is going to be built just like your tank. With the rebar in the floor going through the blocks, but nothing is mixed or poared yet... GOOD LUCK MAN!!!

Please tell me you're putting asian aros in there? If you do, I'm coming up to see it!

Mixing concrete in a wheelbarrow...heh. Poured a sidewalk around my garage that way. I don't need a truck, it's only 50 or 60 bags....lol....

it is 1300gallons(the filter) and I'd love to, but i live in southern ontario with -40*C winters and 40*C summers, so koi is my way to go... but in the garage im thinking of a gigantic aro tank, gonna put some green in there.

Ok. Little update. Here's the current status image. Top frame installed. Final patching inside (blue stuff). One final going over with the permaflex (tan stuff) then install the pumps and plumb the filter and it's ready for water. My wonderful wife agreed to let me buy the pump this week (probably tomorrow), so if all goes well, water testing this weekend :nilly:

Oh, the jack and block in the center on the top frame is because I bowed the pieces of wood slightly toward the ceiling. Like a bridge design trick. Essentially, I wanted to be sure a person could sit on top of the frame without it putting undue pressure on the glass. It works! The jack is pushing down on the wood pretty hard, and it's just barely touching the glass. I'd say there's probably 200lbs of force on that member. I'm pretty fired up now! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... If all goes well, I'll let it sit full of water for 2 weeks, in that time I want to try to get some driftwood from lake Erie, and buy the rocks for the floor. Once I have those, I'll drain it, install the background, tent the top and fill with decor.
