Is There A Tool Or Attachment You Can Get For A Garden Hose Or Something To Measure Gallons Or Something...?

What are you trying to measure?

Well, I'm at a temporary standstill. I just got off the phone with sanitred. I explained that the LRB is separating from the primer and letting water through. Apparently, they got a new primer in that has better adhesion properties, and they're sending me the stuff for free. I did have to buy another quart of LRB though. $39.00. So, I have to cut away the existing LRB/permaflex, then scrape the primer off the glass. Re-prime the glass, and then apply a new bead of LRB all around the glass. I didn't know this to start, but they said that I have to apply the LRB to the primer within 3 hours of applying the primer. I let the primer set too long, so there was no chemical bond between the primer and the LRB. If this fails, I'm going to scrape all this stuff off and install a wood retainer all the way around the glass and use silicone to bond the glass/wood. Then use permflex over the wood/existing permaflex. I'm a little upset at the moment.

I would be soooooo bull....
I just started reading these post 3 days ago w/your first thread. I can't believe all the drama from some "supporters" and the work that you've done. Good luck with the repair. I'm sure you'll be turning those pumps on soon.
You'll be able to jump in and feed by hand.

so close, and yet so far, we , sorry about th leak probs.

Have been following both of your projects from the start. Based on your experience would you recommend Sanitred again? I wonder if it would adhere to acrylic any differently? I took down a plywood tank that used acrylic with a silicone window, the silicone stuck to the wood great. Matter of fact it was a major PITA to separate the acrylic panel from the wood frame. Im having second thoughts now about coating the acrylic with permaflex (primer) then applying the LRB maybe I missed it but I dont remember the 3 hr time limit either.

The Jury is still out for me. I'm going to follow their recommendation and re-primer the glass with the free primer they're sending me, then use the LRB within 3 hours of priming and re-cover everything in permaflex. If it holds, great, if not, I'm going to strip down the existing LRB/permaflex and glass primer, then install a wood retainer strip, silicone the glass to the wood retainer, and permaflex over the wood up to the silicone. I don't know if I'd recommend using sanitred at this point. I'd like to see someone do something like my tank but with pond armor and silicone.
