If I may ask a personal question, what new addition do you want the most? I guess what I mean if you could any any new fish to your 50K tank, what would it be?

There is actually nothing I want at present.

I lost my Bagarius yarelli and my Brachyplatystoma in the 2009/2010 period. Fish I really would have liked to keep but my Wallago leerii is just too powerful so it might be a bad idea to replace those 2.

If I could go back in time I guess I really would like a small shoal of about 20 Megapiranha paranensis. Have you seen any in any of the stores?

Unfortunately piranhas are banned in my state, and the most exotic fish we get around here are silver aros. I couldnt find any on aquabid either, and none were to be had on ebay but I will gladly keep an eye out for them for you. :headbang2

I've kept the wesseli.. They were nasty little buggers!
Rusty gave me some in 2003 and they bred well for me. Mine never grew very big (4-5") but actually were OK in a community cichlid 180g tank.
I guess it just depends on the individual fish. In time I gave away to many and the colony I had left collapsed.

I thought you might have had the Nandopsis beani.

I still have adult fry from those N. haitiensis I bought at the OCA in 2008 we were both at. I bought 6 and got 2 breeding pairs. From their fry I gave about 150 away or so to stores and friends. I kept about 20 to get some more fry from and put the breeders and other fry that were left into the 15,000. In about 6 months they were wiped out by the Amphilophus citrinellus and the Parachromis managuense.

Sorry I was just wishing for an extinct species.

Megapiranha is a genus of extinct serrasalmid characin fish from the Late Miocene (between 8-10 million years ago) of Argentina described in 2009.[1] Megapiranha reached lengths of up to 1 meter long (40").
