Would please explain with all details how you attached the glass panels to its frame?
Did you only use silicone? Did not you use any other material except silicone? What is your idea about bolts and nuts? Would please explain for me with all details how you attached the glass panels to its metallic frames
It could be a great help

how do you do water changes???
to remove water

I have overflows @1. Pool skimmer and @2. Swimming pool pump by turning the head to waste or backwash.

to add water

I have @1. a cold water line into the tank controlled by a valve and @2. I have a hot water hose connected to a sink and controlled by a valve.

well this is my first post on this site, I have to say thats a prity nice tank you have there, and no im not going to ask you howmuch it cost you as i must have seen it asked about every 5 posts(all ignored), with my own monster in the works i know how quickly it runs up, but like you im spreading the project out over time. My self Im building a 10000gallon(well ?10000-13000?) pond with a 20"tall waterfall in the backyard and my brother joked "well lets stretch it to the house and put in a window in the basement to see the fish..." to which i replied dont be dumb... now i regret it. BTW i did read all of the fifty some-odd pages and IF your looking for pumps i got two 7500gph pumps from a guy on ebay (brent661) lastyear pritty cheap, they are new external 1hp pumps and this would provide a the circulation that you seem to need.

here is a pic of them with a dime on one for size.View attachment 53839 they where under $300 CDN each thats now bad.

I wish you luck and i thought of your tank when i was at a local manderin today that had a 30'long marine tank.

I think I'll post the some pic of my pond project so far and maybe inspire others to begin there projects like you have done.
Your pond sounds great. I actually have a few myself sime of which I put tropicals out in the summer and others that I keep goldfish, koi etc. year round..............And thanks for the offer on your pumps.

To get hold of me just go to my bb website www.spitfirechallenge.ca

I have had problems getting on to this MFK site over the past month. hence delays in answering. sorry.......................

Hey Arapaimag,two word for you..................ALIGATOR GAR:):):):)TRUE MONSTA'
I love the Alligator gar and have a small one somewhere in the 33" to 36" range in a 500.

He was too aggressive in the 15K and too small to avoid the Wallego in the 52K.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! The PICS are back. This is so cool. The best thing is that you can do whatever you want in this tank. What I mean is that you can keep the unkeepables. You could keep very large, and cantankerous Cichlids in groups. These Cichlids would not normally be able to be kept in groups. My favorite, Tilapia Buttekoferi. It'd be sweet to have ten adults swimming around in your tank. If you wanted to go salt, you could keep Groupers, Triggers, and yes, Sharks! Probably even a Nurse Shark! When you have enough room to keep a Nurse Shark you are doing very well.
I'm not sure how badly the saltwater would speed up the degradation of tank building materials. And maybe you are a true Cichlid fancier, and would not dream of converting to salt. I love Cichlids too. Saltwater is expensive to keep, and with you doing 10,000 gallon water changes weekly it is probably unrealistic as salt alone is going to cost you a ton of money.
Do you have any large Frontosas in there? Anyway, hats off to you sir.
Thanks .......sorry for the dalay in answering......could not access the MFK site.

I have a pair of breeding Tilapia Buttekoferi in the 15K and they are doing well.

I have a colony of about 25 Fronts in the 52k. They stay low in the 6 to 9 foot depth range.
