Additional:

Decided definatly going for the 9x5 build, all other tape taken up, more tape to go down to mark out other bit of it next.

My tank now looks really empty as all the bigger fish are out.........re-stock time!

Today has seen the lid fitted to the mech filter and the intake pipe cover bolted on with nylon nuts and bolts so it doesn't come off again. Looking a little neater now, bamboo roller blinds have been fitted over the windows replacing the net curtains that were there. It's always a risky experience paddling in there to do these jobs as the Perruno has an unhealthy (for me) obssesion with my toes.

Quick pic of the big cats all lined up for size comparison, they're all about 18" long, from left to right is the Perruno, TSN, and RTCxTSN.

Edit: forgot, yellow tape marked out inside the blue to show footprint of water in the permanent build. Measurements in metric now, 2700mm x 1500mm. The blue is still marking where it should all roughly come out to.

The box full of sponges will be out soon, it is only in as a temperary measure as i quickly had to get it running but didn't have all the bits i needed. It will be out soon. There will be nothing internal on the permanent build.

This will be a cool build to watch. Good luck on your efforts.

That pool is actually pretty neat looking the way it is. Is it causing any excessive humidity?

Thanks matey.

Not noticed any. Two of the windows above it are locked open a tiny bit which is probably helping. I'm going to fit an extractor above the permanent structure. The temperature in the room is warmer than the water normally.
