And now it's wait time. It's as full as it's ever been, the little water change pump is still hooked up to the hose into the garden ready to go.
Not had to pump any water back out yet but there's still a good few hours of the day left!
I tried to get as big a 'full tank shot' as possible by squeezing myself into the corner of the room, as you can see still no more lid progress (it'll get done eventually honest)
Filter outlets now underwater, makes it a lot lot quieter in here but there's still plenty of splashing in the filter itself which is doing a good enough job of oxygenating the water.
I've found that while it's day light like this if i press the camera right up to the glass so there's no glare i get some good shots. However 99% of the pictures get ruined by the Pacu wanting to see what i'm doing (or smuggling food they don't know about!) So here's the best of a mostly sabotaged bunch.

Thanks. Fish very happy. So happy that i've just fed them and in their enthusiasm to eat they've soaked me and the floor. Joy. Really need that lid!

Another whole tank shot showing how ineffective the 2 5ft tubes are getting now the pond's nearly full. It looks lighter in the pictures than it actually is.
