Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Here is my plants growing. I think I just have too much water for even this amount of plants to make much a difference. Then again I am Well stocked also.. my drip sure knocked the nitrates down though.

If anything you will be able to turn down the drip a little, just keep tabs on your nitrates in the next few weeks, or you can leave your drip the same and the pothos will account for your fish growing as well as the bio load!

I must say that setup is great, the rays and tank are amazing, a true /\/\onster Tank, i hope one day to have a tank even half that!

Nice tanks! Very clean!

I suggest some more pothos in all of them if you want to see good reductions in nitrates!

The main tank here is a 600 gallon tank with a 125 gallon sump.

Here is my test. I did just change my socks and moved a little in the sump and all fish were fed a little before this. Normally my nitrates are a little lower than 40 but 40 is great in my opinion. Use to be 80 before the drip system was put in.

I have a little more fish than a couple in my tank that is evident. But shows also that my Bio is working Well and the filter is converting everything over easy. I don't really think anything other than water changes can help it. If I am wrong though please tell. And filling the top 10x4 area with Pothos is not really an option. But I'll look into it for you just as some fun. Putting some plants in the display tank.
