So today my power went out, but it didnt stop and caused my sump to overflow till half of the water in my 125 was on the ground...

I thought it was supposed to stop by itself. If so, Could you think of a reason why it didnt stop?

Sorry it took so long...Here are some pictures.

Yeah thats how low it goes and i didnt think about that when making it.

I was planning on drilling a hole so that it would stop.

No there isnt a syphon brake.

will your sump handle all that water?

If you drill a hole the overflow wont start back up on power up.

yeah if the power goes out your going to have half the tank in your sump :nilly:

And if you drill it then all the water from your sump will end up in your tank as the syphon wont start again

Put them higher only way to be sure

...Here are some pictures we have seen before over and over and over...

By the way, you can edit out pictures and mundane stuff from quotes so that the tread doesn't consist entirely of quotes and repeated pictures. Also, if the quote has been quoted multiple times before, please don't quote it in its full version.

That is true about the hole.

Im only using one because the pump couldnt handle it but im planning on making another one with only one pipe.
