So what size would you recomend, being as long as its going to be?

Will someone help me please? :)

I have a 29g tank that I want to make this for and am wondering all the size pvc pipes I need and everything. Thickness is what 3/4" or 1"? I have a Rio 600 pump that pumps 200 gph. Is that enough to get it back up from the sump? The sump will be under the stand so Im wondering...

Can you guys help me please?

Sorry boss !!!:chillpill:

With out the pics the reply post makes no sense when other post have been put inbertween

Chonk knows what pictures he posted and you didn't refer to any of them. By shortening long quotes, it makes MFK less of a tangle. It is also simple courtesy to the other members by not making them scroll through long quotes to read a three line reply.

I will remember this in the future.

By the way, you are one cool dude. Lets go strip club hopping sometime.

Yeah, you can do all sorts of cool stuff with quotes :D

Use one inch pipe. The three quarter inch pipe will do the job but in time they grow gunk inside and the flow slows. They can't be cleaned unless you remove them and soak them in bleach. Also, as you approach the flow limit of the pipe air ingestion becomes a problem.

Your Rio 600 will do nicely. It will give you between five and six turnovers per hour.

will this work for a 800G tank?? Or am i dreaming

it'll work on any tank. But on a tank that size I would use a few PVC overflows with a 1.25 inch diameter.

Personally if i had an 800G tank it would mean i have quite a bit of money and would look into getting it drilled

My tank is 30x12x18

How long does:

1. One have to be?
2. Two have to be?
3. Three have to be?

1.Is the water level in the tank, you will have to play with it to get it where you want.

2.just above the 90* w/ the check valve in it.

3.if the tank is 18" deep, you can go say...between 12"-16" but they must be the same.
