What type of paint would you use to paint it black? Also, I should use 3/4" pvc tubing for my AC110, right?

yes, ac110 is plumbed using 3/4" PVC.

i used krylon fusion satin black to paint mine. make sure its completely cured before using it in the tank.

this is a good idea, painted mine black and it blends with the black background. cant even see it. the end of the of it i put the heater next to it so the heater is hardly on because the warm water is being circulated.
