I HATE "what's in the box" threads.. I won't do that to you guys lol.. Its "java" wood. They are bird perches. Dense, safe (birds chew on them), they grind off all of the rough edges and its waay cheaper than wood at fish stores. The bottom has a stainless steel wing nut. I am drilling the top of the tank and mounting them upside down like roots. The bottom stays open for the fish to roam.

I like your idea of mangrove roots, using the Java wood, Justin. I never would have thought to use something like that. It was probably a real price saver too. Nice job. Very improvisational and genuine.

I could not believe that little swordtail of yours, could be so hostile. But after closer review of the photo with his mouth wide open, I believe I actually se some really big chompers in there. Maybe he'll chill out if you get him a few female friends. Otherwise, one would think he's related (the "Match Box" Fish version) to those Goliath African Tiger Fish. Nightmare's indeed. Thanks for sharing.

This is behind my washing machine in the laundry room. My laundry room happens to be on the other side of the wall from my garage :D I am splitting off of the cold water supply going to the washing machine.

1" hole through the wall. I plan on picking up some of those plastic plates for the cable cords through the wall. I'll make it look this weekend.

This is the other side of the wall in the garage. It is in between the 300 and 125 tanks. Yes I build a ghetto shelf. I am still making use of all those 2x6's from my work.

Red line = incoming water
Black line = waste water
Yellow line = outgoing water

The black line coming back through the wall into the laundry room. I ran the waste water line down the same drain as the washing machine drain.

Unfortunatly the pressure is pretty low. Target is 60 PSI.

RO is back on and the wife gets her sink back.

I have no more pics to load until this weekend. I still need to get a rain barrel, plumb the auto-shut off valve etc.. I also need to order the chlorine/chloramine filter from thefilterguys before I can actually work this into a drip system. For now at least I can make it 5 gallons at a time. :)

??? yeah I am not sure what to call them to be honest. I belive it was a float switch technically. I gave it to a friend to seal his sump.
