so I like the idea of your sump but I'm just curious as to how many gallons your tank will be after you install the sump. what are the inside dimensions of where the fish will be free to swim?

The 'sump' regeon will be 13" wide by the entire depth and height of the tank, so internal dimensions will be about 7 feet by 4 feet by 30". Subtract an inch here and there for wall thickness and you have 82x46x30, or about 490gal of habitable water.those1;3133538; said:

Yeah, camera = missing. Until I can find it you'll have to imagine 
Nothing major. I coated the filter divider with black polyester, sprayed the eggcrate inlet thing with krylon - also black, and I've started sticking the filter dividers into place in the tank, but I'm outta silicone, so I'm on hold for a few days till it comes in.
I got the 225gal out of my garage tonight (finally) so I will probably have the family's vehicles in and out of the shop for the rest of the week doing brakes, fixing leaks, and so forth. I'll try to borrow a camera for the weekend if I haven't found mine yet.
