Have been following the build for some time, though I have not posted. I am amazed at the craftsmanship in your build and all the tools you have that I wish I had. I liked your design and sort of bit on it, although my filtration will be done externally. Great Job man.

Dear god... so beautiful. I have to subscribe but all these builds are killing me. Too much good stuff, so little time. Gotta do something myself just to keep me away! (which btw basslover should be getting me something to start with
)So potentially disastrous update to the rate of progress... I've been offered the job I was talking about several weeks ago (pages back). I haven't figured out quite what I want to do here with this. I will clearly be taking the tank with me to the new place, but I'm not sure when I will move it. I think in the mean time I will take all the rocks back out of the tank (***sigh*** so much wasted effort.) and focus on ironing out the details that won't make the tank any more difficult to move. It is potentially a good thing that I don't have this up and running yet, as this way I can leave my large fish in their poor, cramped little home for another month or two while I get this (or some other temporary accommodations like a rubbermaid.) set up in the new location.
My start date is alarmingly close, at Jun 22, so with the time I have left here I'll likely be getting rid of a bunch of stock and shuffling things around, so I won't have to worry about getting rid of the fish I don't really care about when the time comes to move everything. Will definitely update more when I know more!!!

O good news = new job pays more. Means I will be buying a house as soon as I get some other debts paid down. Then we go full scale monster build.

Along with my clown loaches, Walter (duh), Squeegee the plec, Bart the gold nugget plec, my black shark, black ghost knife, peaches the oscar, and the silver Aro that's in the catfish tank right now.
