Bump, hows the tank going man. I really feel like copying your idea as far as having a viewable side and front. I will probably go 9 feet long by 4 feet wide by 30" tall. Your tank looks awesome. Can't wait to see water in it mate.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys! I haven't visited the site in almost a month, I was suprised to see this thread still alive!

Walter is doing well under the care of my stepson while I'm out of town. I'm heading back home this weekend and I'll do some water changes and get some pics.

Right now I live in a hotel room, and as much as that sucks, it's paid for, so I'm going to ride that out for as long as the company is paying. That puts me in a new rental home in mid September... which won't give me a lot of time to move the tank up here before winter, but I'm going to try! Until then, there won't be much to talk about... unfortunately my hotel room is on the second floor, and it's a wooden framed building so I can't set up temporary accommodations for my fish here.

Necro may beat me to cycling his tank after all ;)

Oh yeah and it was Fort st. John. I have yet to go check out the local pet store... I'm afraid I will be disappointed so I haven't bothered. I am tempted to get a 10-20gl tank for my room though and raise a spoiled goldfish until it's large enough to make a decent meal for someone ;)

Dude read the last page or two, I updated the other day. I moved, and this project is on hold for a few months.
