wow that looks awesome I bet you are relieved to finally have it up and running. how has it been going to get the built in filter up and going. if I recall correctly you are still using the bucket filter from the Rubbermaid correct? if I'm wrong I guess I will have to go back and see what part I missed. this is an awesome build especially when you add in the big move with it. good job and can't wait to see whats next

Pretty much zero progress on setting up the in-tank filter. I have no money to spend on this project at the moment, and I need a couple of pumps to set it up the way I want. I am using the bucket filter right now yeah, with a powerhead driving the circulation through the in tank potion of the filter. Will definitely update when I get that portion of the build finished. With just one fish in there right now the bucket filter is more than adequate.

Hah! maybe when he gets too big to be comfy here... if I haven't settled in a home and built a bigger tank by then. He's my buddy though, it's lonely in the cold north and my best friend is a fish! It's true what they say about the social skills of Engineers.

Fish make great friends. Yours is especially cool.

Awesome tank! I've read this thread from start to finish! Can't wait to see it with that in-tank filter running, some decor, and some other fish! :-D
