mfk discount on what could be the cheapest coating out there? I like you Basslover but not in a weird way. I sure hope this works. joey was wondering if HH stocked it or did they order it in for you the local one here didn't have it in they where busy so I just left. maybe its something they keep in the back? I'm waiting to see how yours works but I have so many possibilitys for this.

what you are talking about is a polyester membrane, i use this stuff in roofing, never thought to use this stuff to line a tank with. give's me new insperation for my build. Looking good keep it up.

my thoughts exactly. i'm a low slope/flat roofer, we use stuff like this quit a bit. the poly membrane should be easy to find. it usually comes in 6'' rolls. just make sure not to get the black asphalt saturated. asphalt resins, and rubber type products don't typically mix.

Not too much to update as of yet. I have enough rubber to do one more coat. I have been thinking about tiling the bottom of the tank and am looking into soom different options right now. I may just do a light coat of white sand to brighten up the tank a bit, or i may go with some light coloured tile. i have seen a few tanks with tiled bottoms and im leaning more that way right now. I'll use the rubber to hold them in place.

I will be ordering the glass next week and will be able to water test it then.

One thing i cant decide on is what i want for a colour. Im not sure if i want to do a stain/gloss, or paint it a glossy black. im open to suggestions and would like some opinions on that.
