I have alot more pics here

http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q231/reddogracing/Fish/

I WOULD have installed the sump today. However i ordered an 120cm air curtain, and have yet to reive it 23 days so far. Not to mention pumps, which are on the way, I was told. I do have paypal dispute open on pumps, and it turns out person can not send or receive money until it is resolved. And they wont resolve until i receive the goods or refund.

Will dispute air curtain tomorrow. Wont do me much good, as far as work goes, as it is going in bottom of sump, so i need it NOW.

Why me.

Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
I hate to hurry up and wait, I feel your pain Dog,
I always look to see if a seller has much impeccable rep, and then communicate my urgent needs via email. If they respond quickly and have good news, I'll deal with them, if Not, I look on for another seller. Lowest price, does not always reflect good service Bro...:thumbsup:

Spent some foolish money. Ibought this wood for $50, then cut it in half to use for background. In case you missed it, I have some real high ph tap water, so I needed some natural way to lower it, so I will use this drift wood as part of background.

Got some things done, still working, off to Lowes for some hole saws

Got the plumbing in for the tap water. Way I have it, I can fill tank, fill sump, recirulate just the sump, and of course keep everything topped off with an adjustable drip.

Bomber,

Check out page 7 --- post #70 ... Close up pics of packages with numbers.

I got it all at Lowes, here they have a sprinkler section on the same isle as plumbing. All I had to do while gettting all my elbows and T's, was turn around.

The regulator is a 25 psi, they also have a 50 psi, I think it says on package,, to use 25 if using push on hoses. You also need an adaptor, you can see it all in the pic.

Wanted to copy this here so I have it for future use.

the formula for area of a cirle is 3.14 X ( r x r) r is radious, or distance from center to edge, or half the distance across.

So for 3/4 " pipe 3/4" = .75" so r = .375

.375x.375x3.14= 0.4415625" area of 3/4" pipe

1/8" drill or .125"
.0625x.0625x3.14= .012265625

so 36 1/8" holes is the same area as one 3/4" hole

.4415625 divided by .012265625 = 36 holes

to compare

1/16" drill = .0625

.03125x.03125x3.14= .00306640625

.4415625 divided by .00306640625= 144 holes

so you can NOT do simple math here and say 8 x 1/8" holes is the same as 1 x 1" hole it will NOT work. A lot of people would assume that it woould take twice as many 1/16" holes as 1/8" holes, but you can clearly see it takes a lot more.

You can also see that depending on the length of the pipes you use for your rugf, you may want to use a smaller drill. 36 holes might not work real good if you have a lot of piping.

so figure that out as well. Hope this helps

I plan on measuring my RUGF and start with a target of 1 hole every inch. So for this example I would take .4415625 and divide that by how much pipe, i est 250" and that equals

.00176625.

the nearest drill size i have is 3/64 which has an area of .0017248515625,

and that goes into the area of 3/4 256 times

so i can use a 3/64 drill bit and drill 256 holes,

if i am right and have approx 250" of pipe
