Nope, I’m already going out of my comfort zone by getting a drilled 180, I do not want 4 drilled tanks. And there will be other deals in the future, they’re like houses, there’s always another one that’s a good deal.

I will learn one step at a time, sumps are now and I’ll learn to plug holes in the future. The mighty oak did not try to grow all its limbs at once, no, it grew them one at a time.
You don’t have to set them all up at the same time. But you do you bro.

it’s not too hard to find smaller tanks like that so you should be fine.

I sleep just fine, I have a dehumidifier.

Not to be argumentative but oak trees do grow more than one limb at a time. Sometimes many more.

Point taken though.

Hahaha here I was thinking I was being all wise and whatnot and I was wrong, thanks for telling me though, I appreciate it as I’d rather be told something I’m saying is wrong then keep on saying wrong stuff.

Congrats on all the tanks! i’ll be curious to see what you fill them with ?

sorry about the broken tank …. sucks….

what are you filtering these bad boys with?
If I have my way then I’ll be putting more Wallace’s shoehead catfish in them.

Eh, it’s life, ya win some ya lose some ??‍♂️

Not sure but I’m thinking a combination of sponges and aquaclear 110’s since I’m going to be keeping a lower bioload.

Well just damn, I was trying to move the tank into my room with my brother and he set it down too hard, he basically dropped it and it got a huge damn crack, just straight up ruined and I didn’t even have it for 12 hours. That’s several hundred dollars just gone View attachment 1461481

Just thought I'd share, not trying to be all know it all or anything. This thing is invaluable to me, fairly cheap and easy to put together:

I routinely move large tanks and glass panels with it by my lonesome. Also a set of suction grips is essential imo.

Nah man, you aren’t being a know it all at all, you’re trying to be helpful and I truly appreciate it, thank you.

Believe it or not I’m planning to get one of those smaller ones from harbor freight today to help me move the remaining 125’s. Sometime after that I’m going to make my own like you have done, once I figure out a few variables to get the best size for me (car space, door widths, etc) then I’ll make it. I’m going to use better quality casters than the harbor freight ones so it’ll last me for a long time.

Oh yeah, I’ve looked into those suction cups and I’ve found a site that lets you rent them per cup. Basically you pay the full price of the cups plus shipping, they ship them to you, you use them, send them back, then they send back the price of the cups so you only pay the actual cost of renting them. A sort of guarantee that they don’t have people steal them and they be out of the money.

Check HD or Lowes they might carry them and you could get them relatively cheap.

I would never trust cheap suction cups with anything over 100lbs. I have seen them fail and it’s an absolute disaster.

I made a mistake by not taking down that rack before I put those tanks in..... Anyway, tomorrow is water change day so that’ll be doable but interesting... on Sunday I’ll move the tanks out of the way, take the rack down, then move the tanks to where the rack was.9A90F039-B45D-4770-8021-DE0793A406C6.jpegA269FA4B-20C4-4BCA-ABE5-516B01CB41E8.jpeg
