I would like to start by saying "Whats up fellas"
Fishing lately has been very sluggish. This year its been very hot for long periods of time, causing my lakes to hold a very high temperture and some lakes have lost up to 10 feet of water. Today was the first day in like two months it rained steady, and even today it just rainned alittle bit.
Today was a decent day of fishing seeing that I got 12 with all of them coming on the spinny. Since the "Bass Bus" is down at the moment big bruh and I went lake hopping. We fished at 6 different spots and the spinny murdered every single one!
I had a few pics from trips past but I lost my phone on Thursday, so only pic I have is the biggest from todays outting.
The weather is finally breaking and fall feed is here so stay tuned!!!

fishing here has been so slow. drought like conditions and high winds have kept the fish from feeding. now the temperature is dropping and we should start seeing some action.
i went out of boredom to a local cove for some bluegill action, caught 16 big ones and 2 small bass in about an hour. best day ive had in a month

My nephew and I hit "Rosedale" up today for about an hour. I started out with the spinny but since I wasnt getting any action I switched up to the chatter bait. Within five cast BAM a decent two pounder(pic) jumped right on it while I was fishing it like a spinner bait parallel to the grass along the shore. After that I banged two more the same way!!
For a quicky it wasnt bad!!

My nephew and I hit "Rosedale" up today for about an hour. I started out with the spinny but since I wasnt getting any action I switched up to the chatter bait. Within five cast BAM a decent two pounder(pic) jumped right on it while I was fishing it like a spinner bait parallel to the grass along the shore. After that I banged two more the same way!!

ive been talking with locals lately. the crabs have never ever come up out of the bay like this into my susquehanna river. A few would come up every year just wandering around i suppose. People are catching dozens off my pier this year and didnt see one last year. It sucks, the ****ing bastards are stealing bait off your hook before the fish can even find it. i went last night, we spent 5 hours on the water and only caught 6 catfish (between me and my dads 8 rods). ARGH! all small too. I managed to get one into the boat last night. After cussing at it and generally being mean i dropped in near a crabtrap (which now litter the river as far as one can see) hoping hell get eaten.

I dont see why your angry crabs are delicious. Also it may be your bait and not the crabs that are the problem. Right now the catfish have a new source of food. So try matching the hatch and try using cracked crab for the catfish.Dreamsofpeace54;4471425; said:
the crabs wont leave anything alone. shrimp, worms, bluegills. theyd probably eat the crab too.

Try it anyway its hard to take off the hook due to the shell so they cant take all of it. Also crab meat is sort of goey so the smell should spread real fast
