FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

thursday night resulted in 18 fish but nothing to really brag about. We were on the pier from 4pm till about 9pm. Lots of eater channels and a 6lb 8oz flathead was the biggest. Also got a 21" rockfish. Biggest rock ive ever caught but he was all beat up from the rocks up at the dam. We have alot in the area that look like this, not sick or unhealthy just beat up from the turbulent water under the dam that isnt far up river.

25 fish left till i get 1000, still looking for a monster flathead to make my list complete

Fish landed-I-17/Dennis-6

10-28 wasnt good at all. I only landed 3 and Dennis landed one nice three pounder! I landed a my first shad on a "sexy shad" and when we were leaving for the day we found a raccoon in the dumpster.

10-29 "Farrington" gave up a very good day of fishing in my book. The CP bite was good for most of the day and we had a small window for the bass.I got 8 and "D" 3(missed alot)!!

10-30 was a return trip back to "Farrington" . The bite was alot slower then yesterday but I got 6 and "D" got 2. We palyed with the CP' again and the bass finally made an appearance later in the day.

Good thing for the CP cause the bass seem to be slowing down a bit!

Went out yesterday morning caught some channels, 2 rockfish (19" and 12"), a smallmouth, and only 1 yellow perch.

i love the variety the pier has to offer, so many different species of fish congregate on this thing its rediculous.

I started the season aiming for a 1000 ctaches. It doesnt look like ill make it but its been a good season for me!!!

I might have to try and document my catches next year and see how many fish I catch. Does bait count if caught by rod and reel? I love salt water fishing, hell the bait fights harder and pulls more drag then freshwater fish.

All freshwater fish landed with lures!!!

I dont see why not. your talking about lys and cigar minnows right. you could easily get 200 of those in a month easy by using sabikis.

made it to 1004 fish last night, going back tonight to put some icing on the cake. got another 14 and 18" striper. still looking for that monster rock and flathead before the years over.
