went out on the boat saturday night, caught 7 channel cats and the biggest was only 6lbs. water was at 53.5 degrees.
i froze to death after the sun set so we headed in. I might go one or 2 more times but it looks like winter wins this year.

went last night, caught 4 more channels and a white perch. everything is starting to slow down big time. the end is near.

my yellow perch never really came up this year. only caught like 50 total. Even the cats have really slowed down lately. Going out on saturday to fish flathead cats one last time

No, they are still around. Saw some kid with one about 15lbs he caught at the end. I never went to the end, just fish around the sand bar for the whiting but I still saw one king there. Saw several STUD spanish too. Even a couple of tarpon swam by which is pretty unusual this time of year.
