FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

Hit the pier with my three year old for a few hours today. Spanish mackerel were hitting like crazy! Caught at least 30, could have caught easily twice that if I wasnt chasing a three year old up and down the pier!

The dolphins and sharks where chasing the spanish too. Saw several spinners, bulls and blacktips. Even had a solid 8ft hammerhead swim by! Lots of man o war jellyfish made fishing a bit interesting as well, you didnt want your line to run into one! No wonder they were flying the purple flag (means dangerous sea life in water) at the life guard station with the sharks and man o wars!
 
I caught a 57cm Barramundi in Darwin on Saturday. There was alot more there but they weren't biting, you could see the action in the gutters, the prawns were being chased, but the barras wouldn't take the lures. A bit late in the season I think.

whats up everyone..havent posted in awhile ish has been rough but it was nice reading all your updates. havnet fished much at all lately but i went out on saturday to end my season and ended up gettin about 10 sunnys and that was it. FUN YEAR!
 
Fish landed-I-4/Dennis-1

Hit up "Farrington" in the cold!!

Dennis broke the ice with a husky jerk bait, from there I banged my first(bass) then two CP, and finished the day off with my first trout of the year!! The crank bait did all Of the damage!!

Had fun today even with low numbers, I Love Fishing!!!!

100% catfish, come on youre the cat hunter on the fishing board, you should know! Silurus sp perhaps? Im not pussy expert....seriously. :confused:
