Theyre fairly rare in the US theyre more of a UK fish but in a few select lakes theres alot of them, they look like a trout x carp and they fight alot like trout

I managed to catch a few nice ones in the first few days but got bored since the bite was slow. We tried a few new spots near the cabin and acutally ran into some bowfin (3-6lbs) and some monster bluegill (8-9.5"). Also my fishing partner with his first bass of the season the day before we left and mine came from tennesee. We also managed to snag a softshell turtle too. whoops.

Then the real fun began. They have a monster sized problem with asian carp there. Theyve turned it into a sport by ripping a weighted treble hook through the water and "snagging" them. There was so many there, i was able to snag too, with the big one at 17lbs though they get wayyy bigger.

24 Tench (averaging 5bs)
2 Carp (1x 7lb, 1x 15lb)
10+ Panfish (between 3-9 inches)
