FISHING SEASON 2K10!!!!!!

That last bass was pretty nice CF.

I have a tourney tomorrow evening 5:30 till 9:00 pm

Just got back from Cabalas they had Rapala cranks on sale. Stocked up on DT-10's

Yeah I love the DT types cranks. My DT-6 had been doing very good this season, gl!!

Second row far left is the one I been doing really good with, you can see in post 930, It caught 5 of the 14 fish landed that day.

With my hard baits and rubbers I try to match the color of the water. Since its hasnt rainned much here in the last few months the grean one has been very productive!

The lake I normally fish for bass I quess you can tell is mostly a shad based water. I try to keep a mix of natural colors then some just really bright ones as well. So i'm covered for clearer high sky conditions as well as algea blooms or low light. But I have learned this year in the heat of mid summer you have to stop pounding the shallows. LOL

I find that shiny works well tho I normally use soft lures never had much luck on the rapala type stuff tho I couldent help it and I bought one today along with some grubs.

curly tail is probably the best tho its cheap and it works.

My problem is you're giving bad advice in a section about fishing where most are just recreational weekend anglers at best.. I myself take angling very seriously and to have someone of your fishing caliber (obviously low...) argue that a clinch knot is fine with braid and won't slip is just insulting...

I'm sure if you're catching dink fish it might not slip but get more on water experience and then tell me if you're still tying clinches on braid...especially larger diameter line like 50-80lb ;)

first time using braid first fish caught knot slipped  double palomar is my new knot

Who you telling, the bank has been closed since the water has been above 75. You might find a couple on the shoreline but as a collective group they are in deeper water, points, and ledges!!!

Really thats the only place im getting hits. At like 8pm you can catch one almost on every cast along the shoreline when there are heavy weeds.

tribute to my 4 inch shiny blue worms. had a terrible fishing day caught only one fish in like an hour and a half and it was side hooked I got mad so I used my last shiny blue worm second cast caught one third cast another bass and it continued on till I was picked up and I caught two while my parents where there. now my last worm was ripped and I need to go to walmart to buy more cause it works better than all the other crap I have
I caught one more fish I landed him but the line broke and he flipped into the water before I could take a pic so seven fish around 40 minutes the day ended well:naughty:
