Hey guys its been a while since ive been on here, ive been fishing almost 3-4 days a week lost count of my catchs along time ago.

Salmon season is just days away, just got me a centerpin setup. Centerpin fishing is using a free floating fly reel on a long light rod mines 12'6". You drift bobbers with it in the rivers, gives you the most natural drift you can get as the spool just spins.

heres a few pics from recent times

Actually i have never had braid slip on me if the knot was tied right from 4#-60# test line. Even when snapper fishing and a dolphin started running off with my snapper i had the 60# pound power pro fail on me before the knot did.
You can "think" what ever you want. But facts out way what one thinks. Ill just leave off with that. lets get back on topic cool shark and thats a long flathead.

yes it was. lots of big jumps too.

it never ceases to amaze me how hard smallmouth fight for their size.

a 1 pound smallmouth pulls as hard as a 3 pound largemouth.

its crazy how strong they are for their size.

:iagree:

Spots fished-1

Time fished-7.25 hrs

Fish landed-I-5/Cliff-2

Well work is slow again :irked: so instead of stressing about it Cliff and I begun the boat outting at 1:15pm. Carnegie was the todays lake of choice. After two hours of died casting I was lucky enough to land the first of the day around 3:30 :irked:. My second came by way of the chatter bait on a point. Cliff's first came on the jitter bug shortly after. Around 6 they tried to finally come alive and I was able to land two back to back on the buzzy!! After hitting the point again for about 30 minutes and not getting any bites we hit the shoreline and started making are way back the boat ramp. on the way in I was able to my last one on the spinny. As we were on the move I seen this very small patch of lillys shaking like crazy, I tell Cliff to throw his frog in there and BAM he landed his second and final fish of the day!

SUPER slow day but it beats stressing out!!!

P.S.-While we were out at Carnegie having a terrible day Cliff's unlce was at "Rosedale" and he only landed one fish but it was a 24" monster. Ill say it was in the 6lb+ range(2nd pic).

Spots fished-1

Time fished-9.5 hrs

Fish landed-I-14/Cliff-1

Well work was slow again so :ROFL:I was able to get off at 9am and we were fishing at 11, the "Amazon" was todays lake of choice. I broke the ice at 11:32!! After that the bite was very constent up until about 6:30 when they SHUT DOWN. CLiff banged his first at 12:42 and missed about five through out the day. He spent most of the day switching up his baits. I caught fish on a mix of baits today but the crank bait and the chatter brought in most of them!

A couple beast but no monsters today but I had a alot of fun!!!
