Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

hi, I was hoping you could help me positively ID my new little guy, he's really small so may be tough, already eating floating Cichlid pellets though so a good start.

Hi! I am pretty sure i got a Florida Gar. Will post later too be sure. But the other day i saw three slim little gars in my fish store that has shorter, broader nose, darker colour and pretty clean spots all over its body. Also i believe they had a bit bigger eyes than mine compared to their heads. Their sold as spotted gar and im so fond of them that i think im going to get one of those as well, but i would really like to have 2 different species! This is Sweden and the store workers dont even now the english name so im not gonna get any help from them haha. I know it is impossible to say by only a description, but is it possible they accually have spotted gar or can the florida look really different from eachother?
 
After reading through this thread i realize how little i know about gar identification. Im gonna get some pictures of them so you can have a look cause i dont really think their flg even though it seems unlikely for them to be something else..
