Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

Hi All,
I am new to this site, i have had/owned/cared for different species of fresh water fish over 10yrs. Especially Piranhas and Pacus.
I picked up these 2 inch babies today and have them on brine shrimp, blood worms, cichlid pellets and live fish. Need an ID on this, they said it was an Alligator gar.Had to zoom, so its crazy. They are in a 125gal.

Tropical Gar (Atractosteus tropicus).. very odd for this one to be out there and not Identified
Found this guy at a LFS being sold as an alligator gar. Pics are taken with him in a critter keeper. Maybe 3-4". I tried looking at your threads with identification info but was still stumped. He seems to have the most in common with a Florida Gar. I am hoping he is a a gator.
