Santoury, my LFS is selling a 3.5" giant gourami that's white in color for $6. Is this a normal price, and will it survive if it's this small yet? Is white a normal color for juvy gg's? Tnx.

It sounds like a "pink giant gourami" and yes, that's a good price, and you should not have any problems at this size. Heck, I just picked up another gray one today for $8. Cute little guy, about 2 1/4 inches.

White is normal for a "pink" variety Normal wild coloration is a nice earthy gray.
