The more time you spend on this present wonderful site, the more you will learn, my friend.Matt Fisher;1267606; said:Thanks for the replies. I get lost pretty quickly when it comes to fish lingo, haven't spent enough time in those circles evidently.
Hopefully a move to a larger tank will help out Gussy's fins, but I really don't have any idea. His front flippers are a bit chewed up too. I'd like to try the Myxazin, where's a good place to get this medicine?
Also, I swap out anywhere from 2 quarts to 1 gallon of water each morning, then clean the filter system about once a month. Should this keep the water within spec for cleanliness?
Id do about a large W/C daily somthing like a 10gal every 3or 4 days.Matt Fisher;1267606; said:Thanks for the replies. I get lost pretty quickly when it comes to fish lingo, haven't spent enough time in those circles evidently.

I'm sorry, Yanbbrox, I really couldn't access the site - it started to slow down first and then was totally inaccessible.Yanbbrox;1266428; said:loulou, pics??????
Good on ya, your best chioce would be the red fin as they stay smaller and elephant ears are much more expensive and rarer.Loulou;1267654; said:I'm sorry, Yanbbrox, I really couldn't access the site - it started to slow down first and then was totally inaccessible.
Now it seems ok but still a bit slow... dunno what's happening...
Thank you for the pic of George. He is lovely. I am getting more and more decided to get a Giant Gourami. Will sell all my other fish if that's what it takes (and to avoid the Stocking Police!).
I want a Red Fin though - but would be delighted to get an Elephant Ear.
