GIANT gouramis

Will do, she is slowly making the tank her own. It' so weird seeing such a tiny fish swimming about in that tank. The moonlight gouramis are also still alive so at least for now, she's being sociable. If she grows up with them hopefully they'll get along.[/QUOTE]

:grinno:...not gonna happen......the moonlights are going to be a snack when Grace gets alil bigger...

Hey guys, i've just gotten a new GG yesterday. Saved this fellow from a tankful of them that seems to be suffering from some kind of burn or fungus. Some seems quite bad n rotting away. Wouldn't usually buy fish from a tank of sick fishes but this fellow just caught my eye. He cost me $4 singapore:grinno:

Currently in quarantine with 3 albino tinfoil barbs that i got together with it. All seems to be doing really well.

Ruby on the other hand is pathetic! How can a GG ever be so timid? Dunno wat spooked it 2 nites ago, n it refuses to come out of hiding. But still eats like a pig when nobody is around! The moment a shadow appears around the tank, it'll dash straight back into hiding! Here's the pathetic fellow, i think in another week, it wouldn't fit into the cave anymore!:screwy:

Still on a look out for a nice red tail GG n 2-3 more fast tankmates n after quarantine, all will go into the 250gal tank where hopefully they will live peacefully n happily ever after!:D

Sorry, they're not gonna fit in a 250..Your going to need atleast a 500 for three mature GG's or they will fight and if they start to breed then you better have a spare tank set up. The male will guard the nest very aggressively, even attacking the female, its best to remove the female after spawning...a 250 is simply not big enough for 3 mature GG's IMO..You have a couple of years to upgrade though, btw...very nice GG's...

That's one sweet looking fish you get there! :)

Ruby should be fine once she grows a bit bigger...

I agree that that stocking is pushing the limits of a 250 but I doubt that with all the size of the fish in there, not all will make it to fully grown, I would expect casualties along the way.

Like you say there are a few years to play with here.

Thanks guys for the advise! Its just my idea to keep them together. I've tried visualizing 3 full grown fellow in the tank, n i must say its really gonna be tight fit!

N thinking of keeping them together, n whether i can do it, is a totally different story! Now they r all seperate. Maybe 1hr or perhapes 15 mins after i intro them together, n i have to seperate them again!
