Honduran red points

Question guys. Has anybody ever owned any calico HRP? Or know how pure they are? Or their origin? I see some on AquaBid from Ken Davis, but his red points have been in questionable in the past. Just wondering if anybody knew anything about them.

Also I’m selling most of my green line. I’m moving so I don’t wanna travel with too many fish, I’ll be keeping a couple, anybody want some PM me.

@Showtimekev, I have kept a pair of calico HRP before. My pair was from a close friend who ordered them directly from Jeff Rapps a few years ago before Jeff Rapps stopped selling. In the pair I had, the male developed beautiful red finnage and had the calico markings. As for what it was made out of, I honestly have no clue unfortunately. I'll post up old pictures of him before I ended up moving him to someone else. The pair bred for me multiple times in a community tank but I never bothered to pull the fry and they were ate by tank mates each time. I regret not saving at least one batch to see how the offspring will turn out.

@Showtimekev As for Ken's calico HRP, I haven't bought those specifically before but have had my only two experiences with said seller to be bad ones so I personally wouldn't be purchasing again.

Those calicos are beautiful! I love the orange in the tails while still being pearly white. My blue line produces some xanthic fry. I’m excited to see how the adults look, because a lot people say the body shapes are different on xanthic HRP, but if the fry come from the same parents they should be shaped the same. My blue line has a very slim streamline body, and supposedly xanthic HRP body’s are taller & chunkier. So I’m excited to see how they turn out.

Here’s my young blue male. He’s only 2.5 inches but he’s already beautiful. I moved him with a blue female to start the courting process. I had to zoom in on him cuz he’s a little skittish and camera shy from being moved. But notice how his body is long and streamline. Rusty said that’s the true HRP shape, so I wanna see if the xanthic fry I have from this line will be shaped the same.

I believe I have taken the crown for bluest HRP produced

That’s 50/50 bioaquatix/TUIC?!
Indeed, the dominant male of the group I sent my friend in Texas
He's sending one of the subordinate males back for me to pair to the female @Showtimekev is sending me
That'll be four lines crossed in their offspring, now I just need to breed my wetspot ones to the Chris Butcher ones, and pair their fry to the fry of the quad cross, and I'll have the most whole HRP in existence
Though I may have to get one from imperial tropicals...
