The 450D is the same as the Rebel XSi right? Still can't get over those shots. If I had the money, I would totally get a speedlight (any suggestions on a cheap-o one for now?). Job interview at Trader Joe's tomorrow though, maybe after I land the job?:grinno:

$90 ain't bad at all. That's definitely more affordable than the other ones I was looking at ($200-300 range) but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm still pretty new at this, but I'm looking to get more and more into it as another hobby to dump my money into.:screwy:

Definitely a bargain price. You have to love the feeling of empty pockets and an expensive hobby. I only got involved in photography because of fishkeeping and MFK.

A shot of the warden.:)

Man, that thing is a beast. I know you've probably mentioned it on another thread, but how old is he?

Same goes for me, I've always had a little interest in photography ever since middle school. And this year I needed a fine arts credit, so I'm currently taking a digital photography class (doesn't teach you how to take photos though, which was what I was looking for:irked:). Most of my shots are inspired by my fish though and when people need the use of my "fancy" camera. Lol.

Brilliant photography, however I really really don't see the attraction of the fish you keep, however each to their own, they have nice colours at least.

I thought this was quite funny. Ever look at your fish and notice they look exactly like Alfred Hitchcock / that weird fat neighbour you pass in the hall but ignore as he looks to weird to start a convo with?
