  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very, very nice...I'm watching this thread closely as I'm going to do something similar with Hogas and Chanchos (on a much smaller scale - 180g).

DMD123 DMD123 What are you hoping to end up with in the 300 when it’s all said and done? What’s the goal?

All male amphilophus. One hoga, one Petsmart red devil (its just so friendly I cant help it, even though I will likely get better with the midas), two midas and one sagittae. Looking for 5 to 6 max. Slightly crowded but I do regular maintenance and there are 3 FX6’s on the 8 foot, 300 gallon.

That stock will look great in the 300! Sounds like you'll have good water movement as well.

In Portland for the weekend. Stopped at Wet Spot and saw Casper’s kids, lol. Jexnell Jexnell , they still have them there and they are looking to be mostly white with some yellow. I think I will stop back by on the way back home and get a few.

That first one looks just like pops, Good Luck!
I picked two that were very plain. The largest one in the tank, not always true but usually find largest to end up being males. The other was a bit smaller but had “attitude “, lol. The 3rd one was just cool with the possibility of being white with orange so it would contrast nice to my mostly orange midas
