okay, well Thanks to chompers and his how to size my pump. I was able to check and be sure that my pump was manly enough. It was. I just forgot.

I then cleaned my quiet 4000 that was so nice of Rallysman to pass on and put it back together and tested it. Works great! This will be the pump that will be for the 135 upstairs that will be switched to a sump. It have been on HOBs for the time. I forgot to put the sump in before filling. It would not fit in through the doors... anyways, I got that all done.

Midnight found something to work to cover the drains...

Pictures are as follows.
1. drain covers for DIY overflows front view
I got these from the shower drains area. It is made to fit inside 2 inch pvc, or pretty close to outside of the 1 inch 90 elbow
2. drain covers for DIY overflows back view
3. drain covers for DIY overflows on 90 1 inch elbow
4. drain covers for DIY overflows on 90 elbow side shot.
5 DIY overflows painted black with krylon fusion only inside tank is painted outside is unpainted to blend with walls
6. another shot of DIY overflows painted
7-9 is the painted overflows with drains siliconed on you can see the tool to spread the silicon. I call it the "spreader" you may call it a pen.

More work to come!

Mike, It's just a suggestion but what if you put a rubber gasket around the end where you put the drain so that it just snuggly fits on it and you wouldn't have to glue it on. It might make for easier cleaning. Just an Idea!

add some shot of the buffaloheads in the 55 that are the start of the breeding projects!

Well another day and more work done.

The 120s arrived.

Fixed the broken 75 top with a new top frame I picked up. for 25 for it and all the materials. Fixing that top was super time consuming. It is not great to remove. Really difficult.

I also painted the back of the tank black.

Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
Those 120's are phat bro, They look really beefy...I bet your happy now that they have arrived...

Are you going to eventually go with a central filtration system for all your tanks? I think one huge wet/dry bio-tower and large sump would be the ticket...;)
