So what's the reason for the jag attacking everything in my community tank after only 10 minutes of being there if it needs to settle in?
I had to stick the jag in with my oscars and wolf because it was being too aggressive, yet it got owned by my snakehead.
I@m sure your pit would destroy much larger dogs, like labradors, probably even dobermann and rotweilers. However it would not destroy something like a dogue de bordeaux or japanese tosa. They are tough as hell and much bigger.
In the same vein an 18 inch dovii would destroy a 3 foot carp, but not a 3 foot snakehead or wolf fish.
If you like cichlids fair enough, but if an aggressive 18 inch dovii and an aggressive 3 foot snakehead were put into a neutral tank, and you had to bet your life on it you'd pick the snakehead and you know it. Anyone who would not pick the snakehead
This is not about my snakehead being the toughest fish alive, don't be such idiots, this is about my snakehead being absurdly aggressive for a juvenile fish. I find it funny and surprising and I've been trying to see if anything can live with it.
I'm under no illusions that one of SG's snakeheads (see catfish video) would rip my snakehead in half. My fish is nowhere near as big and brutal as those yet, he's just a vicious little baby. Just like I'm under no illusions that my 9 inch wolf would probably kill my channa, as the wolf is too fat for the snakehead to get it's mouth around.
Dont you see it ??? your jag is really aggressive to your community fish after ten minutes right??? so how much more aggressive would he be when he is in a breeding mood in his own tank.
Keep a shoal of Piranha's large jag whith the sh=jag beats up sh piranhas get in a feeding frenzy and no mor sh
