I have owned Snakeheads. The Dovii will stand up to them. But The thing with a Snakehead
is the are not really aggresive. They will just eat anything in the tank if they are hungry.
I use to feed mine large mouth bass. The best luck I had was with a large Butikafferi.
He lasted about 6 months

Like I mentioned before I'm in the process of seeing how compatible my snakehead is with other fish before it grows up.

I've tested it with a bunch of fish so far. It's killed a spotted gar, a hujeta, a convict, a texas cichlid, and attacked a larger oscar.

I heard jaguar cichlids were very aggressive and would stand up to anything so I bought one today to go with my channa.

My channa is 6 inches, and the jag is around 6 inches, maybe slightly less.

The jag went into the channas cave, and the channa did nothing. Just looked confused and turned around a few times looking at the jag.

Then when the jag left the cave the channa rushed out and chased it, bit it twice. The jag then hid behind a filter vertically and I thought it was dead, but it's still alive, I took it out and put it with my jardini and peacock bass.

It didn't stand a chance.

Next week I'm going to buy a 7 inch dovii I've seen and put that with my snakehead. I want to see if my snakehead is compatible with something that stands up to it, so far nothing has.

YOU WANNA SEE SOMETHING KILL UR SNAKEHEAD, THROW IN AN EQUALLY SIZED TRUE WOLF FISH....I BELIEVE THERE WILL BE NO CONTEST FOR THE WOLF.

rob - you're wrong.

I've owned a wolf fish at 9 inches I sold it.

It was in with 2 oscars and they gave as good as they got.

My 5/6 inch (at the time) albino channa tore those oscars up in 60 seconds.

Wolves are overrated. BOring lazy fish.

My albino striata would mutilate a wolf of the same size, I have no doubt about it.

No disrespect to you however

Like I said before why dont you end this "experiment" on the grounds that you already know the answer to your own question. Many people have tried to give you ideas on what fish you can keep with your snakehead and everytime you have shot them down.

Dude we concede your snakehead is the supreme ruler of the animal kingdom. Capable of killing evything from dovii to grizzly bears....LOL

I with central on this one.
