Great looking Tank!!! I'm new here...I checked out your threads on the setup.
Is there another thread on it? The begining?

Also, for anyone. is there a list of acronyms on the site? Don't know what HC is..
Yes I'm somewhat new to FW ;)

i like the set up.

have you thought of having one large school of the same fish? like sawbwa resplendens, or the like?

and HC is the groundcover plant i have. its short for hemianthus callitrichoides :)

yeah, at first i had only r. espei but then i got a little bored and added more fish. i like having a variety of fish in there

Time for another real update. Made some major changes to the tank. I tore down my planted 10g so i added the plants and wood from the 10g to my 55g. I also have about 75 stems of rotala rotundifolia and some more anubias on the way. where are they going? i have no idea yet!! ill figure that out when they arrive :)

you'll also notice that the HC is gone! i got tired of messing with this plant. its way too delicate for my tastes. i only have a little patch on the left remaining. ill leave this for now. HC is an awesome plant and it grew great while i had it, but it uproots too easily and is very delicate. i now have blyxa japonica as my foreground. it should look awesome once the blyxa gets a little thicker and taller.

so, how's it look now????? :D

thanks! cant wait till it gets so thick that i cant even see the fish! after a few months i realized that the Iwagumi style wasnt for me. i like the "jungle" look :D
