I like dwarf sag but a tall grass would definitely add depth, especially swaying from a current. But definitely keep the low-growing aspect for a lot of the tank, that is a good look... minimalist, which suits the whole Japanese rock garden feel.jcardona1;2418390; said:also, i think im gonna get rid of the blyxa on the whole right side and fill the whole back with tall stem plants. what do you guys think? i dunno, i just got bored with a tank full of low-growing plants and i want to add some depth to the tank

I have a 20g planted tank with ~2 dozen celestial pearl danios. Excel got rid of the algae, but the cyanobacteria was brutal until I started changing the water once every 2 weeks instead of weekly (I think the nitrates needed to build up).
Before this tank, I always gave up on planted tanks because of algae!
Beautiful tank, I hope it stays clean looking with no algae!
thanks for the feedback! yeah i got a little BGA as well, but it disappeared quickly and never returned. i guess ive been lucky so far as my algae issues havent been too bad. i think the worst was the green water. that right there made me want to throw in the towel!Acer;2435326; said:I like dwarf sag but a tall grass would definitely add depth, especially swaying from a current.
