Lots of pics past and present

Thanks Dan.
I have 5in total, 2 breeding pairs and 1 on its own.
I would like to raise a decent group of fry from one of the next spawns. I think a large group would make a great display tank.
Yea a large group would look good. Do you get any aggression with only the 5.

Not really no. I get the odd bit of chasing but nothing persistent or concerning.
They remind me of mbuna and tend to be very much rock dwelling cichlids. I think lots of rock work is essential for their comfort.

Two absolutely gorgeous setups. I love the dwarves and festivums.

Those rheoheros are awesome too. Especially with the wild swordtails. Those almost look like coeruleus with the soft pastel blues. Thanks for sharing! Haven’t been on the SA/CA forum for a long time.

Love the lents! Looking great, how big are they now? And what has growth rate been like?
Thanks Swami,
I would say the biggest is pushing 5 inches and the smallest a little over 3 inches.
I have found them very slow growing, probably the slowest growing fish I have kept.
They are very interesting cichlids to keep though and I can't recommend them enough.
