Lots of pics past and present

Congrats!

Beautiful pair. Are you still using Oak leaves in any of your setups?
Thank you Mr Lindsey .

Yes I have oak leaves in the tank above.
Most of the catappa leaves I added to this tank have broken down now.i added a few hundred beech leaves a couple of hundred oak leaves, common oak and pinhead oak. I've also added some ripped up banana leaves .

Finally got through the whole thread...wow. Lent's still doing well?
Hope you enjoyed it RyanM.
Yes the Lents are still doing fine. I should raise a few of the young they produce.
To be honest I have to re vamp their tank up a bit. I've been busy re furbing the house and other than water changes, I've let it go a bit.

I've started doing the same. I catch all my leaves on winter. I have several boxes for fish and vivs.

Great taste by the way. You have some of the best setups on this whole site imo. I especially like your Thorichthys tank

I just had to show my wife the video of your new tank with the cloud of tetras. I regularly tell her she is "fish blind", but as soon as she saw the bolivan Rams she said "murders!" and then proceeded to remind me that in a tank I setup for her many years ago the Bolivians ate her pea puffers :D:p:mad::(

Oak leaves --- like just from Oak trees in the neighborhood?

Also, may I ask what you fed the fry as first foods?

I'm having trouble with my German Blue Rams -- I get the fry, but they perish. It almost seems that the BBS are too large --- or perhaps something else, like not using R/O water.

Thank you, appreciate the nice comments.
I never collected enough leaves last autumn and apart from some banana and palm leaves I'm all out.
Beech are my favourite to use, I must get a lot more this year.
