Lots of pics past and present

Know the feeling, had a 190L empty for about a year till I figured out what to do with it.
What did you do with it? I'm torn between, frogs, rainbow crabs, shrimps, apistagramma, Asian biotope or morning geckos among other things.

Varied list. Asian biotope or rainbow crabs would be good.
I am doing a planted marine tank as such, just got the tank cycled, got some microalgea arriving this week.

Sounds interesting. What fish/inverts would you put in there? Crossed my mind to turn the 7 footer into a fish only marine tank just for lion fish. I think half my trouble lately is spending to much time thinking about possibilities but not actually doing any of them.

I ended up torn between the planted marine or mudskipper tank.

The wife wants seahorses eventually, but to start with probably some firefish.

Seahorses always sound tricky to me. Mind you that was a long time ago, things may be easier now.
Have you kept marines before Dan. I used to keep them about 30 years ago. Back when undergravel filters were popular. I'm sure things are probably very different now.

Yeah had a 5 ft and 6 ft marine tanks about 10 years ago. Never found it too difficult, live rock and a big protien skimmer.
