Hey, good to see you back again. Nice tank too. Is that an upgrade from the last setup you were posting here with the festivums and angels and things or a whole new tank?
Well I’m biased but how about an african catfish biotype? Thanks. No I'm fine not had a cold or anything for about a year. I just lost the bug for the hobby for a while. I'm getting it back though. Think a new scape and some new fish will get me going again.
Thanks, it's nice to be taking part again.Hey, good to see you back again. Nice tank too. Is that an upgrade from the last setup you were posting here with the festivums and angels and things or a whole new tank?
I'm very much open to ideas. I would like to try something that isn't centered around cichlids. I love synodontis species but I'm not familiar with the different biotopes many of those fish would be found in. I would love some ideas for inspiration though.Well I’m biased but how about an african catfish biotype?

I agree Hendre. Some great fish from that part of the world.By far one of my favourite tanks I have ever seen. I think African tanks outside of polypterus or rift lake cichlids are woefully underappreciated.Your tanks: Adam Walding

I think being from the UK and growing up around these biotopes you tend to not appreciate what's on your door step, doesn't feel very exotic. However I also love perch and find the humble stickle back an interesting fish. Maybe one day especially as my mrs blames my tank for rising electricity bills.Being a proper biotope type guy, and being from the uk, i was wondering if you'd ever considered doing a uk biotope? We have some beautiful freshwater fish. Obviously pike are out of the equation, but perch (until they get bigger anyway) would be nice, and then you've got roach and rudd as midwater fish and maybe smaller skimmer bream and tench for the bottom.
The European perch is my favourite fish, ever since I was first introduced to it as a lad whilst fishing. One day I hope to turn my 360 into a uk canal biotope, shopping trolley and old bike too maybe, lol.
Yeah a new change might get the interest going. Maybe doing something completely different would get the interest going? Thanks. No I'm fine not had a cold or anything for about a year. Your right mate. No more thorichthys for a while then. ?Yeah a new change might get the interest going. Maybe doing something completely different would get the interest going?
