krich, I'm not surprised at all. schlemenko can probably make welterweight with ease. it was a big size disadvantage and to me, a middleweight stepping up to fight a true light heavyweight and losing doesn't put a damper on the middleweight's credibility as a solid fighter.
the thing is, as washed up as tito is, the huge size and strength advantage along with still being solid at bjj and wrestling was more of a factor than most thought. I think schlemenko would be able to beat tito. like if they fought 10 times I see them splitting wins and loses.
wrestlers were always a bad matchup with schlemenko. it's normal to see him get taken down, but he'd always get back up or was able to grind it out in the end because the fight would be at 185
props to him for stepping up and taking a huge risk. he called tito out and I wish more fighters would do that. if you're dominating your division, why not move up to test yourself?

they didn't have the best in the world. they just purchased other orgs and absorbed contracts
wec and strikeforce were just like bellator, a competitor. ufc fan boys were always saying how wec and strikeforce fighters could never hang but now most of the current ufc champs were from those orgs that got absorbed
this conversation is just as silly as the ufc vs pride debates a few years back.
I'd never even heard of Schlemenko before but he has something like 42 wins so I was expecting a better showing just based on that lol...Tito now is calling out either Jackson or Lawal.
50 wins actually. he was doing really good, i'd say he was winning the fight until the takedown.
it seemed to me that he had been so dominate lately that he was a little too overconfident and underestimated tito. when taken down he didn't seem urgent to defend and practically gave tito the choke by holding on to tito's neck like a guillotine while tito had side control.
page is supposed to get a title shot against Newton for winning the tourney
it was funny how mo started talking crap about bjorn rebney post fight, saying bjorn is riding page's junk. you'd think there'd be repercussions but apparently not. uncle dana would never tolerate that

So you only watch matches where the title is on the line? I mean why watch contenders? U should only watch the best vs the best everytime according to your theory

Negative. I'm not going to pay to see a title fight of a lower league. Does anyone care, aside from hardcore fans, who wins the NIT TOURNAMENT? What about division 2 ncaa football champs? Sure some people watch but who cares is what I said.
This isnt the same as already established by previous posts. youre comparing lower tier products of the same organization. Bellator is not a lower tier of UFC. Even you said so
Your personal opinion but not fact is that the talent lvl of bellator is subpar to UFC. While reality is its a entirely different animal. Fighting is fighting. Id watch you in a bar fight and youre clearly no ufc/bellator/mma expert

I believe you all are expressing your opinions on here, sorry I chimed in with mine. Clearly mine is not valid. I believe the only way to solve this is if me and you have a bar fight. That way you won't have to observe at a distance, you can be right up in the action.
Since such a fight probably wouldn't be on par with UFC level pre lim matches I'd watch it but I sure wouldn't pay to see it.
