Another day, more pics.
The metal stands for Patch and Miss Kong...they will hold 40 breeders, 50 tall or 65 gallon. You can see the cross brace. I'm debating whether to use these shelves or just get custom cut pine and paint...I'd be limited to 35" tank length with the shelves. Unfortunately due to some financial emergencies, the acrylic tanks may be on hold. We'll see...was definitely looking forward to getting these chunkers into bigger tanks.

Pepper's growth has been great! He's nearly the length and height of the acara now, though not as thick. Another month and he should be ready for the big boys...he's a glass biter and unbelievably greedy!
