Thats a very awesome tank!! Just double check your silicone if it will stick to acrylic. I am sure the GE would not work. Somebody mentioned to me DOW 835 or something will work with acrylic and maybe also the pond liner. I also did thought of using pond liner on my fish tank building but its flexibility and durability kinda made back out from it. But Iam sure it will work out fine for you.

Can we assume that 3" TSN of yours will eventually end up in the tank? You can add more catfish at that size tank. I agree with gars in such a tank. 4 ft wide tanks are great for gars. Your SA cichlids can provide an occasional snack.

Sweeeeet!

Great job. Keep the info coming.

I am planning on doing an outdoor version of something like this next summer (my basement is too small & crappy for this type project).

Sorry if I missed this; what are you using for the windows? Glass or acryllic? What did you do to calculate the needed thickness of the windows? (Letting you do the research for me ;) )

Thanks, and again, great job!

Is it going to have a viewing window?

Ya I have been pricing out the windows so far I am look at around 250$ a window an there are gonna be 2 I will hopefully find something this weekend I could install the pond liner but I have 3 cats that right now are loving to play in it lol

as for the gars I wanna keep aggression in this tank to a bare minimum I wanna have a more active tank I think than a aggressive one
as for the tsn I havnt updated my info in awile I lost him about 3 months ago
