very nice set up, do you test the water parameters, i wonder what the hardness and ph is like in that tank, since you have wood in there, doesn't it soften water and lower ph as well? I'll have more brackish stuff coming soon, soon enough :)

I am really curious on the rear picture of the tank, how its tiled and plummed, and your filtration.

I siliconed roofing slate (1/4" thick) to the rear wall.

The overflow fed a really boss sump I built, but it cracked. I have had a replacement made, but it will require some customization and a spare weekend to set up. I intend to take some pics.

The sump is basically a tower for filter bags and bioballs, and also serves as a reservoir to increase tank volume and allow greater time between evaporation top offs. it also has a separate 16gal tank for keeping feederes or even just as a second tank, for smaller brackish fish.
