Thanks, what's a "cay"? If you mean rays I'm not sure they would like having stones as a substrate. I'm going to add some round Mexican river rock whenever I get them cleaned up.

I'd bet he means cray's? But they might get eaten by your fish, not a bad snack :)

Ha, I knew that question was going to come up. I don't have a complete cost but I estimate around $3,000. The glass alone was $1200. I got them from Glasscages.com. If I got them from a local supplier it would have cost almost triple. The next most expensive were the pumps. At $350 a piece I have two in there. Then the rest of the material and Wetsuit add up to the remaining.

i think any starying cray would make a quick snack for ur fish, however, if you have smaller rocks with larger rocks on top, and populate it enough with cray they very well could be a good clean up crew... in addition if you get those self cloning crays that reproduce asexually or whatever you good have a substantial food source in your tank for your fish
