When I got Casper, I also got a group of Carpinitis.Hey @Jexnell ,
I can't wait to see the Carpintis and the Lyonsi. I have kept Carpintis before and plan on it again. They are a beautiful cichlid. The colors on Kevins Lyonsi are amazing. Good luck on this mission.
My apartment owner said he was going to redo my kitchen and living room areas(my apartment was built in 68) so I shut all my tanks save one for Casper down, gave away all the fish. A few months later he said he wouldn't be able to do the remodel on mine as a different unit ran way over budget. So I set up a 125gal and ordered some more Carpinitis this time bigger and from COTA.Hey @Jexnell ,

Well we are into May now and he has continued with the non aggression while I clean the tank. Actually it's more like he doesn't bother me so long as the gravel vac is in the tank. If I am just scrubbing algea he seems to think my arm is to-go food, so have to keep the gravel vac between him and my arm....More back on topic
It's been about a month now or so without me having to net Casper to clean the tank. He hangs out in the other end that I am working in. These 125s have three 2ft sections as far as the lids go. So after I clean one end and the middle section he calmly swims over to the now clean end so I can clean the last dirty section.
