My LFS + Hatchery pics .....

Also I'm a big believer in fully setup displays in many forms & lay outs to give our customers ideas what they could have or want? They sell them selves this way.
The new place I setup different displays then what is at the main store so if someone wanted to see a different size/style they could visit one or the other which are about a 1/2 hour from each other.
 
The New Mentor store we will be unofficially open tomorrow (Friday Oct 2nd) 11-5.
There is some work still needing to be done & details worked out here & there.
Still filling space with products.
We still need to bring in more fishes to sell plus fish for the Display aquariums.
Some are still cycling & are not ready yet.

We should be fully stocked by the Grand Opening which now I'm shooting for in maybe 4-5weeks?
I have lots of plans & Ideas for the great event that most will not want to miss!

nothing compares in groton, new london, or waterford here in ct. i've never found any rays in ct
 
it really makes me sad that i can't feed my addiction (fish) with anything stupendous here
 
Maybe its time to feed your & many like you in your area?
Open a mom & pop shop. But do not plan to get rich & if you do don't forget how you got there & who helped you along the way.
I really believe the LFS can make a come back to an extent in many areas. Do your home work & plan ahead & plan on headaches along the way no matter what. If you go with less expectations & do it because you luv it & it will show then it can maybe pay off.
anyway i need to go play some video games. its my self therapy from the business & everything else. :nilly:

Heck ya !!!!!!!!!!

I'm blessed my computer is located right by my counter in my restaurant and I can play all day long when it's not busy.

I agree with the open a shop, that is why I am doing a fish store/hatchery next year. Wont get rich but will pay the bills and make my hobby affordable
